Fiat has confimed that the 500 range will continue to expand, and will be continually updated to become an everlasting dynasty – a bit like the way the Porsche 911 has steadily evolved over more than 50 years.
Speaking to Autocar, the head of design at Fiat said, “We have an opportunity to present a family of cars that can work throughout a person’s life — from a young lady in her 20s through to a family with an active lifestyle and children,” said Ramaciotti. “The 500 has the power to enchant, and we believe we can keep the same cheekiness, cuteness and curviness of that car in many different forms.”
